AERIAL PERFORMANCE COACH

We are seeking an Aerial Performance Coach to develop and lead a growing part of our Aerial Community. Supporting Individuals/Duos who are keen to develop their Solo/Duo Acts to become Professional Performers or Aerial Competitors.

The successful applicant will have their own lived experience in professional performance. Be able to guide students in:

  • Finding their own unique strengths

  • Build programs for development in skill, strength and flexibility.

  • Create and foster connections in the local, national and international aerial and events world

  • Support students at gigs, events, and competitions as deemed necessary.

The program will be developed and led by you with the support of the HAPY team. Over the last 12 months we have developed our Youth Troupe with 18 participants and 2 successful group shows. We look forward to expanding to offer Solos and Duos similar opportunities with this program, with a vision for it to encompass both children and adults.

AERIAL TEACHERS - CURRUMBIN

We are seeking Aerial and Acrobatics teachers to join our teaching team in Currumbin.

HAPY Studio has a well established Aerial community of students from 1yo through to Seniors. We have a strong focus on supporting youth and the young at heart to explore Aerial Arts for recreational, social and physical goals, with opportunities for them to progress into performance and aerial careers.

We are looking for teachers who thrive on values of Community, Inclusivity and Creativity. We have a loyal, tight knit team and are passionate about supporting our team to be their best.

If you can support people to find the best ways of movement for them, manage a diverse range of students, and follow a curriculum whilst embracing your own unique style and creativity, then we encourage you to apply.

We have multiple positions available depending on your experience. Positions are casual term contracts with minimum 2hr shifts, and potential for 4-5hour shifts.

Job requirements:

  • Must have Blue Card Working With Children QLD

  • First Aid Certificate preferred

  • Previous experience teaching Aerial and/or Acrobatics and Circus

  • Availability to work weekday afternoons/evenings from 3:30pm-8pm and/or Saturday mornings.

Pay rates are in line with Fitness Award MA000094, and your experience level.
