Adults Aerial Hoop

Aerial Hoop/Lyra is a beautiful art form that builds strength, flexibility, spatial awareness, confidence and coordination.

Learn tricks and shapes on, in, and around the Aerial Hoop. Your flexibility and strength increases week on week, as you create spins, twists, drops and dynamic moves on the Lyra.

The beauty of being able to sit on the Aerial Hoop at different heights means it is accessible for the absolute Beginner and allows to progress to an Intermediate and Advanced level as your strength and flexibility increase.

You will discover creative sequences and fun routines.

  • Suitable for first timers - no experience or fitness requirements, we are here to help you get started and learn the foundations for your Aerial apparatus.

Intro Classes will work with the Aerial Hoop down low to get you up in the air , help you find your balance in sitting shapes and confidence moving both in and under the hoop.

It usually takes a minimum of 5 Intro Classes to gain a solid understanding of the foundation skills of Aerial Hoop, both in names, being able to learn and then master the basics. We encourage people to progress at their own pace, you can stay in Intro level as long as you need.

This level is for the long-termers who are here for the challenge...the aerialists who know their way around the hoop and have the stamina to stay in the air for complex sequences, rolls, drops, and mental and physical puzzles.

We'll get dynamic on the hoop, using your body to create energy and find new pathways into old friendly skills.

We'll find the edges of your aerial knowledge, and then challenge them.

We can't list the tricks you'll cover, because they aren't that simple :)
