Adaptive Aerial and Circus at HAPY Studio
1 hour workshop exploration of aerial, circus, acrobatics, movement, fun and games!
8 students per teacher + assistants
Support workers/carers are welcome
Modified aerial equipment to lift students from the ground or wheelchair
Activities that can be done seated
Sensory aware room if a quieter space is needed
How it works:
This beginner level workshop will introduce you to Circus and Aerial arts.
We provide a safe space for people of all abilities to develop new skills, explore fun activities and gain confidence in themselves.
Adults Classes will held on our ground floor, or in our upstairs sensory aware room depending on students needs.
Kids Classes are held in our Upstairs Room accessed via 1 flight of stairs. If you have other access needs please reach out to us as we may be able to add another class on our Ground Floor with enough interest
We are happy to discuss any accessibility requirements and adjust our activities to suit.
Parents or Participants - join in one of the workshops/classes coming up in the schedule below.
Providers - we can schedule an Adaptive Aerial and Circus Workshop for your group or bring your participants to our Community Classes.
Invoicing
We are happy to do invoice for self-managed and plan-managed clients (but please note that we are not NDIA registered as yet). Just let us know where you would like your invoices sent, and what funding code you would like us to use as we recognise that our services may meet the following needs:
